Q. Why arenít prices listed on your site?

A. We realize that there are companies that sell products similar to ours. However, we strive to provide the best quality and the best value for our customers. Therefore we prefer to talk to you via phone, fax, or e-mail to explain our products. Each item is made to order, according to color and style. Thatís why we would like to discuss color options, shipping options and any other pertinent details to the bottom line price. See Pricing

Q. Do you ship nationwide?

A. Yes, we ship our street lamps, mailboxes, and patio furniture nationwide and Canada. Shipping is by common carrier, so please call or email us for a ship quote.

Q. Do you ship internationally?

A. We will work with any freight forwarding company to ship our merchandise outside of the US. International shipments are FOB Fresno, CA.

Q. Can your items come in different colors?

A. Yes, our cast aluminum street lamps, mailboxes & patio sets are available in 13 colors, or you can send us your own water-based paint and weíll paint it free of charge.

Q. What are the street lamps made of?

A. Our street lamps, mailboxes, and patio furniture are made of cast aluminum.

Q. What do the lamps come with?

A. Our street lamps come wired 110 volt to the base and can accommodate up to 150 watts per socket. They come in your choice of 13 colors and they include your choice of round or acorn globes. Decorative plant hangers are also available as an option.

Q. How do you install the street lamps?

A. You need to run 110 volt conduit to the location of the lamp. Pour a concrete footing approximately 24"x24" (varies), set 4 stud bolts into the concrete, mount the lamp on top of the bolts, make electrical connection and youíre done! Templates can be provided after the lamp has been ordered which have the bolt pattern and specific mounting instructions.

Q. What about the fountains?

A. We have a 90,000 sq. ft. facility, housing over 500 fountains in stock. Due to their delicate and heavy nature, we do not ship them. Tabletop fountains shown on our site are easily shipped via UPS.

Q. How do we order and how can we pay?

A. Call us at (559) 268-1446. We answer any questions and you can order right away. We accept Visa, M/C, Discover, and American Express.

Q. What is your company's return policy?

A. If merchandise is returned to Design Works, there is a 25% restocking fee, which is deducted from the original payment. All packaging and freight charges on both original and return shipments are the customer's responsibility and are non-refundable.

Q. Why are some items unable to be shipped?

A. Due to the nature and size of certain items, our freight carrier is unable to ship them.  However, we do offer delivery on certain items that are within range of our showroom.  We can also have items packaged and ready for pick-up if you would like to arrange shipping.
